LYRICAL.

  • Lyrical combines elements of ballet and jazz with expressive movement and storytelling. Dancers learn to connect movement to the music and lyrics while developing technique, flexibility, balance, control, musicality, and emotional expression.

    Classes incorporate flowing movement, turns, leaps, extensions, floorwork, and choreography while encouraging dancers to communicate emotion and meaning through their performance.

  • Girls:
    Leotard OR fitted dance top with dance shorts or leggings. Tights are optional.

    Boys:
    Fitted T-shirt or tank with dance shorts or fitted athletic pants.

    Footwear:
    Tan turners, pirouettes, or Eclipse-style shoes are required unless otherwise directed by the instructor.

    Hair:
    Hair must be neatly and securely pulled back away from the face.
