Kaiti Reese

Kaiti Reese was born in Washington, DC and raised in Columbia, MD. At the age of 7, she began her dance trainingand performance in ballet, pointe, and modern under the direction of ballet mistress, Donna Pidel, and renowned choreographer, Kevin Thomas Malone. After completing the fellowship awards program at the Alvin Ailey School, Kaiti moved to Las Vegas in 2013, where she was accepted into Bernard Gaddis’ company, Contemporary West Dance Theatre.While there, Kaiti also performed in one of Vegas’s oldest shows, “Jubilee!”. In 2015, Kaiti joined Cirque De Soleil’s “Zumanity” for 4 years, becoming the first African American woman to be cast in the role of “Diamond Girl”. After leaving Zumanity and having a blissful experience performing in heels, SOULtry Stilletos was created as a class to give women empowerment and technique while strutting in a heel. During this time, she taught various techniques at The Rock Center for Dance, Millennium Dance Complex of LV, and various other studios. In 2019, Kaiti took a leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles, CA where she joined the MSA talent agency and worked with various renowned choreographers such as Frank Gatson, Yanis Marshall, Kiel Tutin, Eartha Robinson, and many more. While there, Kaiti performed for 2 years as a backup dancer in Taiwan, for the asian pop star, Jolin Tsai’s, Ugly Beauty World Tour; and, co-choreographed & performed in Brandy’s hit music video, “Baby Mama”. Kaiti’s next venture was in becoming the “face” of Netflix’s “The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience” as Queen Charlotte, in LA and San Fransisco. In 2024, Kaiti began performing as a backup dancer for the alternative r&b artist, Santigold, appearing on her tours in LA and Australia. As Kaiti looks forward to continuing her professional dance career, she is also focused on empowering and giving back to the next generation of aspiring dancers through technique and performance quality.
