ACRO.
-
Acro Dance combines traditional dance technique with acrobatic skills to develop strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and body control. Dancers work through safe, age- and level-appropriate progressions while developing skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges, walkovers, balances, and more advanced acrobatic elements as they progress.
Unlike traditional gymnastics, Acro Dance focuses on incorporating acrobatic skills seamlessly into dance movement and choreography. Skills are introduced and progressed based on each dancer’s individual strength, flexibility, technique, and readiness.
