Tap dance is a type of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion.

Ages 3-4 & 5-6:

Girls: Any color leotard, black or tan tights (may wear pink tights if coming from ballet class), black princess or Mary Jane tap shoes. Hair neatly secured off face in bun or ponytail.

Boys: Loose fitting clothes, black oxford tap shoes. (if wearing pants, length MUST be above heel of shoes), T-shirt, black oxford shoes.

Ages 7-10:

Girls: Any color leotard, black or tan tights (or) dance shorts and camisole top, black or tan tights, black princess or Mary Jane style tap shoe. Hair neatly secured off face in a bun or ponytail.

Boys: Loose fitting shorts or pants (if wearing pants, length MUST be above heel of shoes), T-shirt, black oxford shoes.

Ages 11-up:

Girls: Black dance shorts or leggings, camisole top (or) leotard, black or tan tights, black oxford or low heel ankle strap tap shoes.
*Advanced tap- black oxford tap shoes.

Boys: Loose fitting shorts or pants (if wearing pants, length MUST be above heel of shoes), T-shirt, black oxford tap shoes.
